Our story
Thirty years on one corner.
Doc's was the inspiration of Dave O. Conrad and his wife, who placed his initials in stained glass above the door in 1996 and started serving unique gourmet sandwiches, homemade soups and salads to the public. And now breakfast, all day.
For nearly thirty years Doc's has been a staple in downtown Missoula, and we're looking forward to the next thirty. It still remains a popular gathering spot for diners who appreciate the great ambiance, the personal service, and a generous sandwich made with the freshest ingredients.
"Whether you're heading out for a power lunch, meeting friends and family, or just grabbing a quick takeout — Doc's is always available."
The corner we're proud of
Doc's celebrates the diversity of downtown Missoula: the galleries, the eclectic shops, Main Street America in historic buildings along the banks of the Clark Fork River. We're on the corner of Higgins and Main, which means we've watched a lot of this town walk past our windows.
How it works
Order at the counter. Everything is made when you order it, so give us a few minutes at the lunch rush. Soups are made from scratch every day — Hangover Stew, Tomato Basil, White Chili and Broccoli Cheese are always on, plus a rotating soup for each day of the week.
If you need something special, just ask. We've always been happy to accommodate.
